This unique apartment is situated on the Place des Vosges in the wonderful Marais neighbourhood (4th arrondissement). The Place des Vosges is still considered to be the most perfect French garden and the oldest as well. The garden was finished in 1612.

The beautiful arched galleries made of stone and brick go around the entire square at street level. One of its ancient doors leads to our apartment.

Behind the arches, in a quiet court yard, stands the typical 17th-century building in which this amazing apartment is located. This lovely two-bedroom apartment has been completely remodeled and beautifully furnished.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor (with a lift/elevator) and all the rooms overlook the famous Place des Vosges gardens. There is a large fully equipped kitchen which opens onto the bright living room in which large windows directly overlook the Place des Vosges. The living room has ancient wood beams and a traditional fireplace. There is a large dining table, which can seat 8 people, cosy chairs and a Napoleon-style couch which can be used as extra sleeping space. We also have two cots for additional guests.

Two bedrooms, both with king beds, have a view of the gardens as well. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (one with a bathtub and the other with a shower), There are 2 toilets and a laundry room.

This apartment is perfect for 2 couples or 2 couples with children. To ensure your comfort, the apartment has central heating and fans in the summer. It also has all the amenities needed including a computer with high-speed internet.

Computer and Internet Access

A personal computer (PC) with high-speed internet access is included in the rental of this apartment.

PLEASE NOTE that unfortunately our high-speed internet connection does not allow us to work with Macs. If you want to bring your own laptop, you will only be able to connect PCs through this system.

Situated in the heart of Paris, all activities are just a few steps away.

Under the arcades just below the apartment are many restaurants, art galleries and museums such as the "Hotel Sully" and the "Maison Victor Hugo". One can discover the most original shops situated in this area on rue des Francs Bourgeois or the famous antique shops in the Village St Paul behind the beautiful church "Eglise Saint Paul". Many museums are located within this charming neighbourhood: The Picasso Museum, the Musée Carnavalet, the European House of Photography and sites such as the Bastille, L'Ile Saint Louis, Notre Dame, the Centre Georges Pompidou museum and the River Seine. All are just a few minutes away!

We will be at hand to meet and settle you into the apartment, answer questions and help out in any way we can. We can make restaurant, theater and activity reservations and recommendations. As we live in Paris we will happily share our knowledge, insight and experience with our guests.

The rental price is all inclusive, including fresh flowers, French wine and croissants upon arrival, maid service once if you are staying more than one week, a computer with high-speed internet access, all electricity and heating charges, sheets, bathrobes, towels, soap and staples in the kitchen (salt, pepper, bottled water, coffee, tea, sugar and more).
