Nice spacious apartment. Excellent position. within Walking distance to many sightseeing places. Super market nearly next door.
PVA was the perfect host to my husband and I 1st anniversary trip. The Team specifically Pierre Louis was thorough and thoughtful. To the details of fresh flowers, round the clock access, portable hot spot (priceless!) to the latest Vogue magazine on the coffee table. The apartment building was sweet and quiet and the street gave us a true Parisian neighborhood experience. There is so much to experience in Paris as a tourist and PVA made our first visit comfortable and manageable and special. And the car service was great!
This apartment was perfect for our trip. It is comfortably furnished and has everything you need for a short stay. The bed is very comfortable, the American style shower is a big plus, and even though it is on a busy street, when the windows are closed you can’t hear the traffic. The neighborhood is lively with great shopping and dining options, and it is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. Our greeter, Pierre Louis, was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We texted him several times for advice and he always got back to us quickly.
As always, Paris Vacation Apartments (PVA) provides excellent accommodations. I’ve been using PVA for some years and sometimes rent a small studio (St Germain) and sometimes take the Luxury Palais Royal. You can always count on PVA for continuity, modernity, and perfect locations. And equally important, they are “legal” instead of some owner-occupied rentals that do not meet the French laws. Thank you Pierre Louis for meeting me early and bringing the lush roses, pastries, and coffee. I was pleased to learn about a new historically interesting street (rue St Dominique), full of little boutiques, and I was always fascinated to sit by my two big but quiet windows and watch the interesting entourages go by. My favorite restaurant of this trip was your recommendation of Café Constant. PS. I’d like to break my record of 4 trips to Paris in one year!
This is an updated apartment in an old building . The location is convenient to several Metro and bus lines. It is also near a wonderful food market (Rue Cler) and several small supermarkets. The amenities are as promised: a well stocked kitchen for cooking; free wifi and landline phone; small dishwasher. There is a clothes washer and dryer. the dryer is typical of small European models and is not as efficient as most American models, but is adequate with a long drying time. Bedroom faces a small courtyard. Apartment is a good size for two people
I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment, which was in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and a lot of great restaurants, patisseries, and boutiques. The apartment was the perfect size, has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a good view of the street. It looked just like the pictures. There are two grocery stores and a pharmacy just a few doors down. I’d definitely stay here again. Very safe neighborhood.
My second time staying at the Invalides apartment, with the same genial greeter, Pierre, who remembered me from my last visit. Very well located, close to Rue Cler, lots of nice stores and markets in the area. The 69 bus is right across the street and takes you all through Paris, or you can walk to the nearest metro, which is also convenient. Even though the weather was spotty (unlike previous trips), there is always something to do in Paris with public transportation able to get you anywhere. The PVA service — with that welcoming bottle of wine and croissants – is impeccable. Pierre is very charming and will orient you to everything in the apartment. Lovely bed, bathroom, etc. A nice place to come home to after a long day out and about. This is at least the 5th time I’ve used PVA and will always use them when visiting Paris.
Loved everything about the apartment. The location, the neighborhood, the apartment itself. Exactly as described, perfect size, it even comes with some city guides. Pierre is the perfect host – very clear communication, very responsive. We would stay in this apartment again in a heartbeat!!!
“The flat was great. The perfect location for shops and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower is only a few minute walk away and a short distance to other key landmarks. Pierre was a great host with easy communication and very accomodating. There was construction going on in the building as noted in other reviews – we could not hear them, and they did not wake us up. The only “”let down”” was that there was no air conditioning but the cross breeze through the apartment at night was more than enough to cool it off during a week of temps over 90F. I would stay at one of Pierre’s locations again without hesitation.”
We had a fabulous stay at Pierre’s AirBnB. The location was perfect- very central to many sights and the local area itself had lots of shops and cafes. The apt itself was bright, clean and had a comfortable bed and even an espresso machine and ipad to play around with. There is some construction going on in the building so it was loud a couple of mornings but as long as you get up and out early it shouldn’t be a problem. Check with Pierre about the status of the construction if you are worried and he will gladly update.
We had a wonderful stay at Pierre’s apartment. It is very convenient, close to some great bistro’s, and the view of the Eiffel Tower from the street downstairs was pretty awesome. It is also walking distance from the tower. This is a perfect space for two guests and important to note that it is a very quiet neighborhood and building, which we loved. We would definitely stay here again!
It is just as in the pictures, but what the pictures don’t truly capture is how charming the apartment is. It really provides a feel for living in an old Paris building, but with modern amenities and updated decor. It’s very centrally located, just a couple blocks from the Seine. It’s near public transport. There are some lovely bakeries nearby where you can get the most delicious pastries. The host is helpful, and we were kindly greeted at the apartment by the maid, who graciously helped us get our luggage up the stairs (the elevator was out of order upon our arrival, but was quickly functioning the next day). This apartment is perfect for a couple or a family with up to two children. The price for the charm, amenities, and location just can’t be beat! (Side note/FYI for families of small children: while the apartment itself is kid friendly, the building is quite old, which means the elevator is small. We were able to fit our medium sized stroller in the elevator no problem once it
The apartment was amazingly located in the best area in Paris. We walked to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower from the apartment. There are also plenty of places nearby to get a quick bite to eat. Using Uber was a very easy since the street was well known among drivers. We highly recommend staying at Pierre’s flat!
Could not have picked a better apartment or location for my first visit to Paris. The neighborhood is family oriented, but only a 5 minute walk to the Cler Market for shops and dining. The apartment is just as advertised: clean, well equipped for light cooking, a large comfortable bed and very quiet. The Bose Mini speaker is a real nice touch. Thank you Pierre. I will visit again.
Such a sweet place, close to great dining, metro, and places of interest. Pierre made sure we were taken care of and had great insight to the city. Super clean and comfortable
This was our second time renting this apartment. Truly a five star experience. The neighborhood is lovely. Shops, restaurants, cafes are just steps away! The apartment came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. PVA staff were brilliant and are there to answer any questions you might have and help in any way they can. We will definitely stay with them again on our next trip to Paris.
Great host. We communicated that our flight is being delayed by more than an hour and also got delayed another half an hour in airport upon our arrival. We were met downstairs by the host himself adjusting his busy schedule to accommodate us. Excellent place to stay. Very quiet bedroom. Clean, thoroughly updated with separate bedroom. Very decent size shower. Newer washer and dryer and kitchen appliances. Location is excellent, maybe around 50 places to eat or buy food in a radius of less than 500 feet. Strategic location for major sightseeing (walk or take metro/bus ). Extremely comfortable bed. One more time excellent bed, plenty of towels and even higher quality robes. Highly recommended.
This is our second time renting this apartment from PVA. We are already planning our next trip! The apartment is in a wonderful location- we walked everywhere and the Champs de Mars is perfect for our early morning walks. The staff of PVA is incredible- kind and responsive. We hope to stay again and again. Merci!
This unit was everything the listing promised and more. Pierre couldn’t have been more responsive and accommodating…even if it was just to answer a couple of my silly questions:-). The unit was perfect. Wonderful location, all the amenities you could ask for and incredibly comfortable. We’ve been to Paris many times but this was easily the best accommodations we’ve experienced.
“Pierre was an extremly wonderful host. He met me at the apartment and went over the operational aspects of the amentities and was very helpful with directions and suggestions. The aparment exceeded my expectations in every way! The “”Owners Manual”” was also very helpful and guided us around to everything we needed. “
Pierre was an amazing host, he met us on time and stayed in contact with us the entire time we were in Paris helping me with directions and phone issues even though he didn’t need to. The apartment is beautiful , clean, well kept, and in a PERFECT location. I hope to return soon – this is a stunning apartment. Thank you Pierre! 🙂
Pierre-Louis apartment was a lucky discovery that I worry will be too popular to book for next time. It was my first time to stay at the 7th arrondissement and found myself liking it more than I thought I would. The location is easily accessible with stations La Tour-Maubourg and Invalides less than a 10 minute walk away and the famous bus 69 stop just across from the building. The apartment is very tricky for those on a diet as there are at least 4 great boulangeries on the street and rue Cler just 5 minutes away. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, very clean and the bed and canapé lit more than comfortable for a restful sleep. The street itself comes alive during the day but quiet at night. Pierre-Louis was a very gracious host, accommodating a request I had prior to arrival and also taking time to show me around the neighborhood while the apartment was being readied. Thank you for everything and I hope I can stay at your apartment again!
The many very positive reviews for this apartment are absolutely accurate. The location is fantastic – great neighbourhood, short walk to Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, about a 5 minute walk from Tour Marbourg metro station and 10-12 minutes from Pont d’Alma or Invalides RER station, very safe and lively area (nearby Rue Cler street market great for a takeaway meal too). The apartment itself was immaculately clean, bright, spacious, well appointed (dishwasher, washer/dryer, phone with free long distance calls to Canada, laptop computer) and well maintained. Two urban supermarkets (Carrefour and Franprix) are immediately adjacent to the apartment, as are several bakeries. The owner was in contact and responsive, and made a fine dinner recommendation (Cafe Constant, nearby). A memorable stay.
Pierre was an incredible host! He greeted us upon arrival and took the time to give us a tour of the apartment as well as familiarize us with the neighbourhood. He had lots of great tips for us and suggested placed to visit and eat. The apartment itself was absolutely gorgeous and we were quite tempted to spend our entire time in it. Beautiful neighbourhood, beautiful amenities and such a relaxing atmosphere made our trip even more amazing than we had hoped for. Will be sure to stay again when travelling to Paris. Thanks Pierre!
“Pierre-Louis was a great host. The apartment was very much “”clean and neat””
Pierre is an excellent host! He was very easy to communicate with prior to, and during, our trip and was extremely accommodating to us. He met us at the apartment (despite us being late due to train difficulties!), and was really friendly and welcoming. The apartment is in amazing condition/quality and just what we needed for our week away. Its perfect location means everything is in walking distance.. only 10 mins from the Eiffel Tower, and the street it is on has everything you need. It was perfect and made our trip even better – Highly recommend staying here in Paris. Thank you Pierre!
The place is just perfect for tourists. Location: 8~10 minutes by walk for Tower Eiffel, 10minutes to Invalides station/ 5minutes to La Tour Maubourg Station. You can find bakery shops, restaurants, Carrefour City, and Starbucks infront of the house. Not dangerous even after midnight. Famous restaurant near home : Cafe Constant & Le Suffren Building : The building is always locked, for safety. Also, has little elevator. You don’t need to carry your luggage to 3rd floor. House : Perfect living room & 1 bed. Better than hotel. Coffee machine, tools for cooking, washing machine, dryer, towel, soap for washing machine is prepared, you don’t need to bring own yours. Pierre prepared extra towel, bed sheet, and blankets. Wifi is available, and Pierre made scarp book for tourist also there are some guide books in English. I want to visit this bnb again, if I can. Thank you for making me the perfect memories in Paris.
Pierre was very friendly. He was constantly in touch with us from the time we booked the place. He also helped us plan our stay in Paris. He was prompt with all our communications be it email, text or telephone. He helped us take our luggage to his charming apartment. The apartment was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. There is also a washer and a dryer. The WiFi connection was good. The location is fantastic. There is a bakery, bus stop and supermarket within a minute’s walk from the apartment. Eiffel tour is about 15 minutes walk. It is close to most of the major attractions in Paris.
Pierre was fantastic upon arrival very kind and gave us a lot of information, the apartment its self was very clean and exactly what we expected. You can see Pierre puts a lot of work into the apartment which was nice too see! Great location to explore Paris with plenty of little restaurants and clothing stores nearby. Would definitely recommend, we loved this apartment .
This is the 4th time Ive used PVA and will continue to use their agency for my Paris vacations. My greeter, Pierre, couldnt have been more gracious or helpful in his welcoming me (and carrying my luggage upstairs my overall trip was a month, and I couldnt pack as lightly as I would have liked). Also took care of ordering a taxi for me on departure. Adorable French country style kitchen, fully equipped, a comfortable and peaceful bedroom, a very nice American bathroom with great shower and separate washer and dryer (not a combo). There are two supermarkets very nearby, and Bus 69 right across the street which travels as far as Pere Lechaise from Rue Dominique and to the Eiffel Tower on return (Because of the oneway streets, you exit by Rue Cler on the way back, which is convenient). Unfortunately, its schedule a couple of days was quite erratic, but the Metro is about a 10 to 1 5 minute walk depending on your agility!, and you can always make your way to the Seine or E
Pierre was welcoming and friendly. He helped us with our bags and gave us tons of information about anything and everything. The apartment was excellently located, super close to the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides and well within walking distance of most other attractions (including all the major museums). The immediate neighborhood is also lovely with all the restaurants and supermarkets you could ever need. You absolutely have to go the bakery just down the road, Le Moulin de la Vierge – amazing. Thanks, Pierre!
Pierre is a great host and VERY responsive. The apartment is way beyond awesome than our expectation. Pierre has provided all required home utilities like iron, iron table, detergents for washing machine and dish washer etc. Above all, it was a very CLEAN and TIDY apartment which it really improved of our enjoying Paris like local people. I will definetly advice my friends who want s to go to Paris and I will also stay in the same apartment when I again visit Paris.
“We had a great time at this apartment. Overall, everything was amazing and we will definitely return here again. – The location is terrific, offering some 5 minutes walking distance to both Eiffel tower and Invalides but being secluded enough to provide you with quietness and relaxing atmosphere. – The apartment itself is great. First, it’s located in classic “”parisienne”” building, giving you the real feel of Paris. Second, it is decorated with great taste and with great quality – it is really cozy there. Third, it is equipped with everything you need – quality bathroom, en suite kitchen, even bathrobes and coffee – all for you. – Pierre (the host) is a great and welcoming person, who makes you feel like home when you enter the apartment.”
This apartment was absolutely perfect for our weekend in Paris. We could not have hoped for a better apartment. Pierre was there to great us late on friday night and welcomed us to the apartment giving us ample information about how everything worked and the location we were in. We were so close to the Eiffel Tower?, the were lovely bakeries and cafes and wine bars all within walking distance. The apartment was open, bright and spacious with lovely finishes and was very comfortable. We are so plesaed we chose this apartment to stay in and will certainly be reccommending to our friends and family. Thankyou Pierre for making our weekend in Paris so wonderful.
“My husband and I recently stayed in the “”Invalides 1 Bedroom “” apartment and we really enjoyed it. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a secure building with an elevator. The apartment is located on an utterly charming street in the 7th that has everything nearby including a pharmacy, 2 grocery stores, at least 4 patisseries, posh clothing stores and only a 5 minute walk to rue Cler. The 69 bus is across the street and other buses and metro stop within a 5 min walk. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the street each day as you walk. The apartment itself is very comfortable. It is exactly as pictured. the living room has a comfortable sofa, the kitchen is well equipped and I was shown how to use all the appliances but there was also a manual if you needed. I made breakfast in each morning which saved time and money. The bathroom has a shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bathroom is modern and the entire apartment was very clean
This is our second time staying in a PVA apt. The photos and description of the apartment are exactly what is available in this apartment. They always responded to our emails very quickly. We really enjoyed staying in this area. There are several grocery stores, pastry shops and so many restaurants. The bus stop is right across the street and the métro about a 5 min. walk away. We would definitely return here again. Service: 10 Value: 9 Attractiveness: 9 Overall: 10
