SAINT-GERMAIN JOLI STUDIO

A charming little apartment perfectly designed for two people max. The apartment itself is very clean with nice stone floor and amenities. The modern tiled shower is perfect with very good water pressure. A small fridge and cook top is available, but given the abundance of excellent restaurants in Paris and nearby we did not have the need to cook inside. The washer/dryer combo is small, and a second drying cycle is needed for this type of machines if you want your clothes super dry. The sofa is more like a love seat for two, so you cannot lie on it to lounge around. We had a nice stay and really enjoyed the unbeatable location. A super market is right outside the building entrance, and there are many restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. Because of the position of the apartment within the building, when you open the window there is not much privacy. Over all we loved this little apartment as a place to stay after exploring the city all day. Best for its price point.

The studio was perfect for us. Just enough room, wonderful location. The flowers, wine, and chocolates were a nice treat. Being personally welcomed by Fred was immensely helpful.

The apartment was perfect. The kitchen has everything one needs. The washer-dryer combo was wonderful (knowing it was available helped with planning). The bed was so comfortable; the whole apartment was clean and quiet. The heat works well, and as we had no cold days while we were there (Dec 18-28) we had it off most of the time. The staff of PVA were exceptional and were responsive to any questions I had before or during our visit. Thank you Fanny for patiently waiting for us! We have been to Paris several times and this location (for its location) is one of the best places we’ve stayed. It is an easy stroll to the Museums (Louvre, Orsay, Rodin to name a few) or the Eiffel Tower, Île de la Cité, Champs-Élysées, etc. Or you can easily get to several Metro stations within minutes to get to further reaches. [If you arrive by plane aim toward the metro Rue De Bac or Saint-Sulpice (Metro Paris Maps & Routes is an excellent app) and you’ll be very close to the apartment.] Five stars!

This studio apartment was the perfect for us for only a few nights at the end of an eight week trip. Well designed and very quiet considering what a vibrant area it is in.

The experience was great from check-in to check-out. It was closed to a hotel experience than most airbnbs since the hosts are very responsive. I was greeted with fresh flowers and croissants and assigned an agent. I once locked myself out of the apartment and was assisted within 2 hours. The apartment is much bigger and brighter than the listing photos. The bathroom was very clean and bigger than most in Paris. There’s a great cheese shop, grocery stores and restaurants in the surrounding block, and the bus and train stations maybe 2 blocks away. The area is very peaceful and safe and the apartment is recessed from the road so you wouldn’t hear the noise anyway. It’s only on the first floor so just one flight of stairs to haul your luggage up.

The experience was absolutely amazing! The host made us feel so special. The location was amazing and very beautiful and the whole experience was just 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay at the Saint Germain studio. We have been to Paris many times and this was our first time using this company. This was our best stay yet. The location was unbeatable – we walked to everything. There are so many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as being really close to a metro stop and several bus lines. One of the best cheese shops in Paris is right at the front door. We cannot wait to book our next trip to Paris. We will definitely be using PVA again.

This cozy apartment is very well located and has everything you need to be comfortable in Paris! The PVA staff is always very kind and accommodating, and we love all their apartments (having stayed in 7 different PVA apts over the years)!

Fabulous location! The number of top notch patisseries/boulangeries within walking distance, for your morning croissant, is astounding. Great restaurants, great shopping area. Walkable to many top tourist destinations. Major bus routes around the corner. The space is used so cleverly you will never feel cramped in this studio apartment. Plenty of hot water, sufficient heat, functional kitchen…and a washer/dryer. We really enjoyed staying in this apartment!

We loved our stay in St. Germain. The studio is exactly as pictured on the web site. Very cozy, well-equipped kitchen for simple meals, very comfortable bed and nice sitting/ table area. The bathroom is tiny, but very nice. The studio is set back from the main street offering peace and quiet. Perfect place to return at the end of a busy day. The location is fantastic!! Wonderful cheese shop downstairs, groceries, wine store just a couple doors down, plenty of cafes within walking distance. Walking distance to many sites and easy metro access around the corner on Rue de Bac. Excellent base from which to explore Paris. The only downside for us was we found the shower never got really hot. Both the kitchen and the bathroom sink had very hot water. The buildings are older, so we figured it was quirky plumbing and managed with warm showers. I would give the studio 4 1/2 stars overall or Very Good. Five star location. Perfect for a week stay. The PVA staff were responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay with PVA again and recommend them to friends.

Great tiny apartment with everything you could need.

Had a terrific stay for my 1 week solo stay in Paris! Had contacted Pierre re: check in time. Studio up a flight or stairs which Pierre was very kindly able to assist with luggage. Check in was very clear and all questions answered. Location very central- able to walk to most tourist attractions and many shops. Beautiful small studio! Felt really lucky to stay at this apartment and if I ever made the solo return back I would for sure book again! Thank you 🙂

This is a lovely apartment in a great area. The apartment has everything you need, small but perfectly formed for a couple of people. It is just beside Beau Passage which has great restaurants, cafes and a Carrefour. Walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens and the Musee D’Orsay. Importantly it also has a portable aircon unit which is great in summer!!!

The apartment was so well equipped and really well presented. It is in a great location. Our greeter, Daria was so friendly and helpful showing us the apartment and offering information about Paris and the local area. she even booked us taxis for particular pickups when needed and greeted us with wine and beautiful pastries on arrival. My husband and I had an amazing stay at this apartment. It is in the perfect location in Paris in a great neighborhood. Everything is within walking distance, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay. The metro was easy to navigate with Google Maps and very convenient to take to the Sacre Coeur, Arche De Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Catacombs. Apartment is quite small, but there is enough closet space for all of our things. We loved that we were greeted with wine, chocolates, and flowers. Daria checked us in and was very helpful at explaining everything to us. They have a book for their guests with cafe recommendations and much more. Thank you for a great stay!

Best location in Paris! This cute apartment is located in the best spot in Paris..St. Germain. My husband and I had never been to Paris so we decided to visit for my 40th birthday. We are so happy we picked this apartment. Has everything you need, tidy, and the host is available any time of the day for questions, advice, or to arrange a driver at your request. I love little touches and thoughtfulness so when we arrived to the apartment to flowers and a bottle of wine, I was sold. Not only is the apartment and host perfect, you are directly beside one of the very best cheese shops in Paris, you are also around the corner from Pierre Hermé who makes the best croissant in Paris! I had to have one every morning! Cannot say enough about the apartment and hospitality. Merci!

The perfect apartment to explore Paris…centrally located in an absolutely charming neighborhood. We did a lot of walking and nothing seemed very far, and when we did use the Metro, there’s a stop within a block of the front door. “My wife and I stayed at the St Germain studio for the first half of our 2 week honeymoon in France. We wanted a low-key place where wecould make ourselves at home (as opposed to a hotel) and this was the perfect solution. True to the description, the apartment was located in a great area with access to wonderful restaurants and shops. Every morning, I would pop down to the local bakery to get bread for the day and in the evenings, pick up some snacks and food (for the nights we cooked dinner). We truly felt like local Parisians and can’t wait to return again. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had pretty much all of the amenities one would want for an extended stay (washer/dryer, small kitchen, internet, and TV). It might feel a tad small for American standards, but the space is maximized and when you’re out and about for most of the day, you don’t care much. The St Germain area is very upscale and we never felt threatened or uncomfortable. We didn’t have much need for help from the PVA team during our stay, but it was very clear that they would have been very responsive to our requests and would have helped as much as possible.

Excellent apartment and location, small but everything one requires, great check in/out and communications from PVA, laptop and free internet, washing and dryer, great shower and excellent water pressure, comfortable beds and basic supplies 9 Cofee/tea/sugar/oil/washing powder etc.) Supermarket/bakery/metro/wine/cheese all with in a few metres, very quiet and safe location.

This apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is beautifully renovated – whilst it is not huge it is still quite spacious for a studio and has a very comfortable and large bed, lovely linen, clean and modern bathroom and a great compact kitchen with everthing you need.  It is in a really central position in a lovely area of Paris – we could walk to most places of interest – but it is also close to a metro station. A great cheese shop below along with a florist and shops nearby for any needs. It had reliable internet access also. It was quiet at night and we totally loved it. Upon arrival we were met and had everything explained to us [ as well as a very lovely bunch of flowers, some croissants and a bottle of red wine]. The little thoughtful extras like fluffy bathrobes and towells,  books on Paris etc. really made it special. We will definately stay there next time and would highly reccomend it to others

A wonderful alternative to hotel accommodation! Great location – close to transport, cafes, restaurants, within walking distances from central Paris and also very quiet. We were delighted with the apartment – the surrounding shops are great – wonderful cheese shop on the ground floor of the building, a patisserie with the best macaroons, great wine shop with well priced wine, butcher with pre-cooked meals. The apartment is set up with everything you need including lots of maps and ideas on where to eat and things to see and a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend the apartment for a great value stay. The process of booking and the communication during the leadup and the actual stay was excellent and informative and greatly appreciated.

I found the Paris Vacation Apartments site while browsing the internet doing research for my trip.  At first I was a little hesitant to do a transaction over the internet but after doing research on the company (they had great ratings on Trip Advisor) I decided to go ahead and rent the apartment.  The transaction was smooth, everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful.  When we arrived there was someone there waiting for us at the apartment to show us around.  Also they pretty much provide you with everything you need, right down to a binder full of information of the city and neighborhood.  This was definitely the way to go, we will be renting from them in the future and will recommend it to anyone that will be traveling to Paris. “was referred to Alex’s company by a friend who had rented from him previously.  I was a little nervous, I was traveling with a friend who was kind enough to trust my decision without checking it out first.  Our initial impression was so positive, we were given perfect instructions, finding the apartment was a cinch,( considering our lack of French), and the nicest surprise was being greeted with fresh flowers, chocolate, wine…how charming.  Our apartment was adorable, exactly as described.  I especially appreciated the computer you provided and the amount of towels.   We were traveling in Paris with friends who chose not to rent an apartment, they stayed in a hotel on the Left Bank, but preferred our apartment.  It felt more, well, French.

The service was personal, complete and exceptional.  The guide book in the apartment was useful.  Fred, who met us at the apartment,  made sure we knew how to work everything, told us where the local services were, and generally made us feel that we were special guests. He ordered a taxi to take us to the airport, arranged a babysitter for a friend, helped us negotiate a train strike and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was very useful to have the computer and internet connection in the apartment. We loved the apartment and its location and can’t wait to return.

The apartment is very well-sized for 1 person or a couple.  It has a washer/dryer which is very useful if, like me, you are on a multi-week trip and will need to get things cleaned.   The computer worked fine although you have to get used to using a non-English keyboard.  There were no problems with any of the appliances or fixtures.   The apartment is on the 2nd level so you do need to go up a flight of  stairs to reach it.  The location was quiet and seemed very safe.  My only (minor) complaint was that the location of the towel warmer was too close to the toilet and it was very easy to bump it. The apartment is about a block from a Metro stop and is walkable to 2 other stops plus the D’Orsay museum. There is a Pain Quotidien restaurant about 2 blocks away, which is very useful as they are open and serve straight through the day.  There is also a grocery store a block away which has basic supplies. We had a wonderful time staying at the 51 Rue de Grenelle apartment. Marie-Laurie was extremely helpful when we arrived, giving us an overview of the area, showing us around the apartment, and arranging for a taxi to pick us up at the end of our stay. The apartment was beautiful and extremely clean when we arrived. It is in a great location, we easily walked to many sights, such as the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay, and the Musee Rodin, to name a few. We also walked to cafes in St. Germain and rode on the Metro from the Rue du Bac and Sevres-Babylone stations. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris.

This was a perfect, very well equipped apartment, in a very attractive, central but very quiet location, with excellent food shops, cafes, marvellous traditional restaurants and wonderful fashion shops. Within walking distance of so many landmarks and 1 minute from a Metro. I could not fault my stay at 51 Rue do Grenelle and found the staff and management very helpful and very reliable. The welcoming roses and wine were very much appreciated. Restaurant recommendation, 5 mins walk, La Ptite Chaise for a wonderful, traditional french meal. For a luxe touch go to the George V hotel for a drink and see the great flower arrangements. Thank you Alex and Marie Laure.

Alex, We have returned from a wonderful visit to Paris. The beautiful St. Germain studio was in every way perfect for our stay. Marie-Laure was there for our arrival and made us feel very welcome from the moment we entered the apartment. The flowers were beautiful and the croissants delicious beyond description. The studio is in an excellent location. From it, we walked everywhere. It was also well-equipped, meeting every one of our needs. Having the washer/dryer at our disposal was very helpful. What we loved most was the fact that the apartment was extremely quiet. Such a bustling location, but once we entered the courtyard and the cheery red door, we were completely comfortable and slept without disturbance. Thank you for a flawless experience. Alex was great from the beginning and very professional. He answered all questions before arrival and while we were there. The apartment was in an excellent location with a grocery store at the end of the block and the metro at the end of the other block. There was an ATM right outside the building. Everything in the apartment was just as it was pictured. I would highly recommend this apartment and company to anyone!

Our Rue Grenelle apartment was so nice and cozy (even when the nights got down to low 30’s degree Fahrenheit) This place is located very nicely to access the whole town of Paris. It is in a wealthier neighborhood, with a great market, cafes, bread shops, Luxemburg Park all so close by. Our helper Marie she took extra time to help us get a week metro pass and help us with any other questions we had about the town. The computer in the apartment was a great treat. We thank you for the easy time of finding the place, welcoming us, the book with recommendations of restaurants/cafes and sending us off. “I have just stayed at the Rue De Grenelle studio for 18 nights. I found the apartment on the net and have only travelled to Europe once before. Right from my first contact with Alex I was impresssed with the way this company handles its customers. My queries were answered quickly. I’m a fifty plus single female travelling alone. Marie-Laure met me at the studio and explained everything. It was immaculate, complete with the computer, Skype service, gorgeous roses, pain au chocolat, red wine, Evian and ground coffee. Any queries I had were dealt with quickly and I found everyone delightful to deal with. The studio was perfect and ideally located. Very quiet and private. Travelling alone I felt very safe. We arrived at the unit to a very friendly welcome which included fresh roses etc and a laptop computer already set up with wireless internet. The unit was small but very comfortable. A comprehensive brief of the local area was given us and there was a very good information pack that covered almost every question you could have about your stay in Paris. The unit was situated in a great location within a few minutes walk to the Metro, Bus stop, supermarkets, Museums, the river etc. We did a day walk from the unit to the Orsay Museum, the Louvre, through the Tuilleries Garden, up to the Arc de Triumph, across to the Eiffel Tower, then via Les Invalides back to the unit. It was a great day. I cannot praise the staff too much they were avaliable at the end of a mobile if needed and assisted in any way that they could to help you enjoy your stay in the unit and Paris. A fantastic location within walking distance to everything you need. The space is very inviting and definitely feels like home away from home. It was a blessing to have the kitchen as it kept our meal expenses down enabling us to really enjoy the meals we did have out.

Paris Vacation Rentals was recommended to us by friends and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Clementine met us at the apartment upon our arrival and left us her cell phone number in case we had any problems. We had a long trip and a lost bag, so we were delighted with the lovely bottle of wine, basket of croissants and beautiful roses which awaited us. The apartment, though small, had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, a small but very functional kitchen and dining area, washer/dryer, internet access, a lovely bathroom, phone, TV and a book of recommendations for the neighborhood. The St-Germain area on the wonderful Left Bank was so centrally located that we were able to walk to many attractions – Notre Dame, the Musee D’Orsay, the Louvre, Bon Marche. This apartment was perfect in every way, what a gem. The photos look good but they don’t capture all the tasteful details that make this apartment so special. This is a beautiful place, tastefully decorated, fabulous location, spacious shower, fluffy bathrobes, computer with free internet access, quality touches everywhere. “I loved staying in this little apartment! I arrived much later than expected because not all of my luggage made the connecting flight from Zurich, but I was able to reach Alex, who in turn let Clementine know of my delay, and she waited at the apartment to greet me when I finally did arrive. The phone was not working, and the extra bed for my friend who was arriving the next day was not there, but the next day the phone was fixed and the bed arrived. The apartment was small for two people not sharing a bed, but we got by fine. The apartment was very clean, with everything one would need: soft, fluffy towels and robes, kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, and even a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. I loved the shower, the big rain showerhead and the heated towel rack in the bathroom. The neighborhood is very nice

“I’m not one to give 10″”s easily, but this was an outstanding company to deal with. Everything was as they said, no surprises, quick answers to emails and quick solutions to a few problems that arose during my stay. I hope to always use this company in the future. The apartment was small and compact with everything one could possibly want. I was very comfortable here for nine nights and could easily stay here for a month. The apartment is well decorated, very clean, and extremely quiet. I cooked about half of my meals and the kitchen was well equipped. THe washer and dryer worked wonderfully for what little laundry I did. The bathroom towels as well as the robe were nice and soft and fluffy.There were basics in the kitchen to start with as well as tp and soap in the bathroom, making it an easy way to start a vacation. I would recommend this apartment as well as this company for anyone looking into renting in Paris, they were so easy and professional to deal with. “

We stayed at this elegant studio apartment from 19th September to 3 rd October 2007 and will definitely return. It is compact, but thoughtfully designed and well equipped, and is ideally suited for a couple who are seeking a comfortable base camp in a perfect location in the heart of st Germain. Off a quiet courtyard, it is a real oasis in the middle of the hurly-burly, with excellent shops for top quality provisions within easy walking distance. We particularly appreciatd the free internet and global telephone access, the abundance of excellent restaurants, the easy link to attractive tours and the multi-channel TV.

We stayed in the self contained studio after a week and half of driving around the French country side. We found it easily from the Metro (and were met at the door as promised and shown through the apartment & its amenties) and it was great little oasis to come home too after a long day of trekking through the capital. It was close to the main attractions and was really walking distance to most of the Parisan sites. There were wonderful cafe’s within blocks and the cheese shop underneath was always full of patrons and good smells. The little vegetable shop and bakery down Rue de Grenelle also helped us with our last minute dinners at home (when we had them). We have since recommended the apartment to a close friend who found it was booked during her stay later this year to her great disappointment. We would happily go back and stay there in the future.
